South Africa 2021 - How it works!
How it works
Our tours are all designed to be modular – IE: they fit together like a jigsaw to make a complete tour.
HERE’S WHAT TO DO
Firstly work out which Test tour you need. 1+2, 2+3 or 1+2+3. These give your hotel accommodation, full breakfast daily, match ticket, airport to hotel and return coach transfers and game day transfers. So at all times you will never need to worry about transfers.
Next, in-between each Test are empty days. You can either arrange your own travel or have a look at the “experiences” we have designed. IE, are you wishing to go to a private game park or Kruger, Okavanga, Victoria Falls, the Garden Route, Chobe or Wine and Whales or even Zanzibar? These “experiences” are also fully inclusive of coach transfers, flights (if needed) breakfast and hotel accommodation.
Once you have chosen the “experience” all that’s needed is to select the grade of hotel, and add then to your CART. Here you change the total from 1 to whatever number is travelling. The TOTAL value changes accordingly. The process is just like shopping at Waitrose!
If for some reason our “experiences” do not quite fit in with your wishes, then call or email us and we will design a bespoke tour just for you.
Some tours are yet to be loaded, so please be patient
As we have said, our modules are designed to fit in between the Tests. If you want something special, just email us on firstname.lastname@example.org and with over 35 years of travel experience in tourism to Africa, we will arrange a bespoke tour, just for you.
If you are booking for 2 or more persons and you need for each person to use their own credit/debit card, simply book as an individual (ie: one person per booking process) and then email us the names of the party to be joined together. Each person will receive their own invoice against which they can make payments, but you will be classified as a party or group.
Once again we are offering our pay as you go option. When you receive your invoices for the remaining stage payments, there is an inbuilt option to pay off £200 or more at any time. Great for budgeting.
We take safety very seriously, so we have included pre-booked coach or car transfers at each step of your travels. From arrival Johannesburg to the chosen hotel, to the stadiums and back, and all the way to your final flight. You will not need to worry about anything.
Malaria is still prevalant in certain game parks and regions of South Africa. We strongly recommend you discuss this with your GP. A simple course of PALUDRINE can be very effective.
VISAS & HEALTH
Full details will be sent after booking on all matters relating to visa requirements, immunisations, etc.
FLIGHTS TO SOUTH AFRICA
Of course flights will not go on sale until around 11 months out, so August 2020. But whilst we do not automatically include flights we are happy to give guidance. We recommend going onto comparison sites such as www.skyscanner.net where they feature thousands of flight options on multiple airlines from every country in the world. To assist with budgeting, as of 1/12/2019, the non stop BA/Virgin fares are +/- £700 return, whilst one stop fares with Kenya Airways or Etihad are £600.
However, when the time comes and you find that you need to spend a night or two extra in a city, in order to fit in with airline schedules (or a better fare) then that’s not an issue. Just email (email@example.com) call (07497 304 284) or WhatsApp (world rugby travel) and let’s talk it through.
