Evening train to Kobe Misaki Stadium for ENGLAND vs USA at 1945hrs.
Return train after the game.

Perhaps a day trip by train to the ancient capital at Nara?

Sunday 29 September
Depart Osaka on the bullet train for Hiroshima. On arrival check in to hotel. Afternoon visit to the Peace Park Memorial and Peace Museum.
Monday 30 September
Morning train and ferry to Miyajimaguchi. Walk the few yards to the ferry terminal and take the 10 minute trip over to Miyajima Island Park and view the famous Itsukushima Torii Gate plus the amazing over water monastery and museums. Return to Hiroshima at any time.
Tuesday 1 October
Leave Hiroshima this morning on the bullet train to the ancient capital of Kyoto. This city is the cultural centre for Japan and offers a magnificent castle and numerous temple complexes.
Wednesday 2 October
Full day at leisure to enjoy this cultural city.
Thursday 3 October
Leave Kyoto today and head to Tokyo, a city of 22 million people. Arrive and check in to your hotel.
Friday 4 October
Saturday 5 October
Afternoon train journey to Tokyo Stadium for the ENGLAND vs ARGENTINA game, starting 1700hrs. After the game, train return to city.
Sunday 6 October
Perhaps a day tour to Nikko?

Tuesday 8 October
Leave Tokyo by train for the 90 minute train ride north to Nagano. Opportunity to view the magnificent Zenko-ji Temple. Continue by train to Togura. Stay in a traditional ryokan for 2 nights.
Japanese dinner tonight with Geisha show.
Wednesday 9 October
Why not enjoy the area on foot, bicycle or car. Your ryokan host will be happy to arrange any of these modes of transport, allowing you to visit the famous snow monkeys of Jigokudani, a local vineyard or a soba noodle and sake maker. Enjoy a soak in the onsen (hot springs) before dinner this evening.
Thursday 10 October
Leave the ryokan after breakfast and take the train to Matsumoto. Time to view its picturesque castle before heading back to Tokyo.

Afternoon train to nearby Yokohama for the ENGLAND vs FRANCE game at 1715hrs. Train back after the game.

You will note that apart from when staying in a ryokan, we do not include breakfast. Experience of tours to Japan has shown most of our passengers find a typical Japanese breakfast (soup, cold smoked fish, fish roe, cold omelette, porridge, etc) not to their liking. Instead we find numerous cafes near to our hotels offering more European style of cuisine, at affordable prices.

CANDEO HOTEL OKAKA NAMBA, OSAKA
Open from 15 July 2017, Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba offers accommodation in Osaka, 8 minutes from Glico Man Sign on foot. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. On-site private parking is available at an additional cost. All rooms feature air conditioning, a hot tub, sofa, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, electric kettle and refrigerator. Each room has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and towels. Free toiletries including toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner and body soap are also provided. Guests can relax in the open-air bath, public bath and sauna at Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba. There is a 24-hour front desk at the property. A drinks vending machine is available on site. Namba CITY shopping mall is a 15-minute walk from Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba, while Tsutenkaku is 10 minutes away by car. Guests can reach Osaka Castle in 30 minutes via train and walk. The nearest airport is Osaka Itami Airport, a 40-minute drive from the property.
NISHITETSU INN FUKUOKA
Overlooking the Naka River, Nishitetsu Inn Fukuoka is just a 3-minute walk from Tenjin Subway Station and offers a Western restaurant and massages. Every air-conditioned room has a private bath, and free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property. Rooms at Fukuoka Nishitetsu Inn are simply furnished and come with a wood desk, a TV and a fridge. Toiletries and an electric kettle are provided. Guests can enjoy both satellite and pay TV channels.

TOKYU REI HOTEL HIROSHIMA
Located within a 7-minute taxi ride from the JR Hiroshima Train Station, Hiroshima Tokyu REI Hotel provides free Wi-Fi throughout the property and also wired internet in all guest rooms.
Rooms are equipped with complimentary coffee, free toiletries and air conditioning/heating. Rooms also feature a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle and several types of cell phone battery chargers. Hotel Tokyu REI Hiroshima has a 24-hour Front Desk, and offers a free luggage storage service as well as a free coin launderette. An internet PC is available for guest use free of charge at the lounge area. A Western-style buffet breakfast is served at the lounge on the 3rd floor. INSTALLMENTS - here there are 2 schemes. For Rugby in Japan you will automatically pay 55% up to 15 April, 10% on 15 May, 15% on 15 June and the balance by 15 July. All other tours will be 25% deposit and the balance of 75% 12 weeks prior.
